Hi All,
My latest video, we titled “google female rapper” is basically just one incredibly long verse, with probably over 100 bars, although I never counted. We called it this because I do come up first when you google that, thanks to a ton of bloggers and such writing about me, using the words female rapper.
So, even though the words are all on the vid, I have been asked to explain more about them. I guess you could say the song is an overarching statement about who I am and what I care about. The video was done in one take while I took off clothes, symbolizing the tranformations I have been through to a more calm person, or rather yogi. 
There are about 24 bars in this that I pulled from my song Notice the End and from Start None – for those of you who may have heard something before. They were some of my favorites and I wanted to recontextualize them in this. I put the lyrics in red and my notes in black and capital letters. It is sometimes hard to do this as I often just feel like a channel and don’t really think as I write and often realize what was happening after the fact. But, here goes nothing.

(FOR A LONG TIME, I DID NOT REALIZE THAT MY PERCEPTION COLORED THE WAY I SAW THE WORLD…I THOUGHT THINGS WERE THE WAY THEY WERE FOR A REASON AND I HAD NO CONTROL, WHICH ON SOME LEVEL I STILL SEE AS SORTA TRUE BUT, BASICALLY I STARTED REALIZING THAT, AS WAYNE DYER SAYS, “IF YOU CHANGE THE WAY YOU LOOK AT THINGS, THE THINGS I LOOK AT CHANGE” – SOME CALL IT POSITIVE THINKING, SOME CALL IT LAW OF ATTRACTION, FOR SOME IT IS PART OF A RELIGIOUS PRACTICE TO CREATE REALITY, SOME HAVE 
LEARNED IT FROM INDIGENOUS WAYS….WHATEVER IT IS, I HAVE FOUND IN MY OWN WORLD, IT SEEMS TO BE TRUE ALMOST EVERY TIME I TEST IT. AND AS SOON AS I HEARD OF THESE THEORIES, MY LOGICAL SIDE WENT TO WORK TESTING. IT IS MY GUESS THAT MANY PEOPLE FEEL HELPLESS ABOUT THINGS LIKE I DID, AND SO I BRING UP THESE THINGS MANY TIMES IN MY SONGS BECAUSE IT TRANSFORMED ME FROM A SUPER NEUROTIC AND SOMEWHAT WHINY FEARFUL AND UNTRUSTING PERSON TO A MUCH MORE CALM, PROACTIVE, AND TRUSTING CREATOR THAT BELIEVES STRONGLY TO PRACTICE GHANDI’S THEORY THAT “YOU MUST BE THE CHANGE YOU WISH TO SEE” IN ORDER TO CREATE CHANGE OUT IN THE WORLD – THAT WAS ALL I EVER REALLY WANTED…TO SEE JUSTICE FOR ALL PEOPLE ON THE PLANET…BUT, THE MAN IN THE MIRROR IS THE KEY. NOW, MANY THINGS HAVE AIDED IN MY TRANSFORMATION AND I HAVE A LONG WAY TO GO BUT, THIS IS AN IMPORTANT PART OF IT. SPECIFICALLY LYRICS THAT PEOPLE QUESTIONS (ERECTION/WATER RETENTION/ELECTION, I THINK OUR OBSESSION WITH WITH FOOD, SEX AND POLITICS IS REALLY DISTRACTING US FROM THE POWER WE HAVE TO ACTUALLY CHANGE THE WORLD)
